just finished my physical, and everything appears to be fine. in fact all my physical indicators except for weight (still moderately overweight) are in the really good category. i go to do the fasting bloodwork tomorrow.
on an irritating note, my new DVD player failed yesterday - with a CD inside it. i take it back to the store today and will attempt to rescue the disc as well.

on the other hand, it IS brand new, so there won't be any trouble getting a replacement.
my stuff usually dies shortly after the warranty expires.

took it back. they swapped it for a new model - gave me a discount on an upgrade. they said the repair guy would pull out the CD and give me a call to pick it up.
Mr. C. . . . Glad you are getting good reports. . . . and I am just like Balloon Pirate. . . . my stuff dies right after the warranty is done.

as ballon pirate accurately noted the DVD player is new. it would have voided my warranty and therefore anulled my full refund to have removed the DVD myself.
i got the call last night. they have the CD waiting for me. i will be picking it up today.
